Analysis of Design and Development for Lightweight of Automobile Structure

1. Overview of automotive lightweight, including technical condition about lightweight, technology roadmap of lightweight, lightweight goal, lightweight object and so on.

2. Analysis of the challenges on lightweight vehicles. Nowadays the common way to reduce vehicle weight is the use of lightweight materials which are limited by the level of technological development. In order to achieve the best match for materials and the function of components, a design method for multi-material hybrid structure will be the future design direction.

3. Analysis the design technology of automotive structural lightweight. The common CAE analysis methods include structural analysis, collision safety analysis, CFD analysis etc.

4.Lightweight design based on the structural bionic is also an important future direction of lightweight design. List bionic examples and provide relevant topics about bionic.
